The Princess Bride (1987) - A fairytale adventure about farmhand Westley, who must rescue his true love, Buttercup, from marrying the evil Prince Humperdinck, all framed as a grandfather reading a story to his grandson. After being presumed dead at sea, the legendary Dread Pirate Roberts returns as a mysterious masked man to overcome a giant, a Spanish swordsman (Inigo Montoya seeking revenge), and a genius, battling impossible odds to reunite with Buttercup and save her from a war-starting plot.
